Confident - A badass is confident, not conceited. Compliments are not necessary when working with a badass, they do not need others approval to get the job done or to feel accomplished. They know they're pretty awesome, yet do not feel the need to make others feel
less around them. Also, see picture below...
Humble - This goes right along with being confident. A badass recognizes that however hard they've worked they almost always did not reach their goal without help from someone. And, all of their efforts could be washed away tomorrow.
Integrity - Honesty is the hallmark of a badass. Their actions are the same whether illuminated on the stage of life, or alone behind doors. They have integrity, therefore they have nothing to hide.
Hard Work - You will not find a person that works harder than a badass. They are not afraid to get in the trenches and do what needs doing.
Grit - "Never give up" is a mantra repeated by most badasses and however they acquired such determination does not matter. What matters to them is the achievement. Anyone can work hard but the tenacity of a badass in conjunction with their hard work is what sets them apart.
Moral Code - Just do the RIGHT thing. Having morals is not just a set of rules to govern your actions, it is a compass that if followed will not let them down.
Respect - A badass commands respect, but also gives it in return. There is no social, monetary, or cultural standard they require in others to see their humanity.
Speaks Up - A badass will speak up for their beliefs. They speak up if they see a wrong, and a badass will speak up for those less fortunate, but they don't just talk a good talk. A badass will also act on those beliefs and endeavor to help right the wrongs.
Acts - Last, a badass ACTS. They dream a dream, and then ACT. They see an injustice and then ACT. The action is what has gotten them to where they are and is what will propel them even higher.
